Careful Evaluation

During the inspection, detailed notes are taken on many aspects of the house.

Irregularities that may be found, are evaluated as

• safety hazards that require immediate attention
• serious flaws
• minor problems
• possible upgrades
• items needing preventative maintenance

The inspector will discuss with you and record in the report the seriousness of these irregularities.

You will then be better informed to

• complete the negotiation for the property
• make future decisions about maintenance
• decide on possible remodeling

Radon Testing

In recent years, testing for radon during real estate transactions has become common in addition to standard home inspections. Our tests are conducted over a 48-hour period. This method is considered to be the most reliable by the EPA for short term radon tests. The results are typically available the day the test is finished, and will be mailed, faxed, or e-mailed to you as quickly as possible.
