Radon and environmental issues such as mold, asbestos, or lead-based paint can be health concerns for home buyers, but do not always influence real estate transactions.
Radon Testing
If the results of a radon test will affect the transaction, we can arrange testing by AARST/NRPP-certified inspectors. These tests run for 48 hours and results are available shortly after testing equipment is collected.
If the results won’t affect the transaction, do-it-yourself radon testing kits are available at local hardware stores and some county health departments.

Mold, Asbestos, and Lead-Based Paint

take samples for analysis by a local lab
refer you to local labs for more thorough investigation
Houses built before 1978 are assumed to have lead-based paint.
